Custom Box Center operates as a dedicated custom packaging division, combining structural engineering, graphic design, and print production under one roof. Rather than outsourcing dieline development to one vendor and printing to another, we run both disciplines through a single coordinated team — which means fewer handoffs, fewer miscommunications, and packaging that matches the approved proof exactly.

Custom Box Center was built on a straightforward premise: packaging is manufacturing, not decoration. A box has to survive a supply chain — warehouse handling, freight, last-mile delivery, and the unboxing moment itself — while still representing a brand accurately on shelf or on camera. That dual requirement, structural performance and visual precision, shaped how we built our production process from day one.

Over time, that focus grew into a full-service packaging operation with in-house dieline development, prepress, and a materials library spanning corrugated, folding carton stock, and rigid substrates. What started as box-making has become a packaging partnership model: we stay involved from first sketch through repeat production runs, not just a single transaction.

Every box starts as a dieline — the cut-and-fold blueprint that determines how a structure closes, how it fits the product inside it, and how it survives handling. Our structural design team builds and tests these dielines before a single sheet goes to press, catching fit and durability issues on a prototype rather than in a production run.

Once structure is locked, our graphic design team builds print-ready artwork matched to the chosen material and printing method — managing color mode conversion (PMS to CMYK), bleed and safety margins, and file resolution so what prints matches what was approved on screen. Structural and graphic decisions are made with visibility into each other, which is where most packaging errors get prevented before they reach production.

Our materials library spans single-wall to triple-wall corrugated in B, C, and E flute grades for shipping and mailer boxes; SBS (solid bleached sulfate) paperboard from 12pt to 24pt for folding cartons; rigid chipboard from 1.5mm to 3mm for two-piece and collapsible rigid boxes; and natural, bleached, and recycled kraft for eco-friendly product lines.

Printing runs on CMYK and PMS color systems with litho lamination for high-resolution retail graphics, plus finishing lines for foil stamping, embossing, debossing, and spot UV coating — the same finishing options found on premium retail shelves, available at custom packaging order volumes.
